We have weathered many storms and have adapted (and even thrived). There is no doubt that this too shall pass.
In the words of our President, let us not despair. Let’s stay positive and know that we are a strong nation and we will get through this. It has been stated that the Chinese have lifted the lockdown in Wuhan, the epicentre of the virus and that no new cases have been reported. There is hope! We can do it too!
We want to leave you with his closing statement from our President, to remind us all that together, we will prevail.
‘In the days, weeks and months ahead our resolve, our resourcefulness and our unity as a nation will be tested as never before. I call on all of us, one and all, to play our part. To be courageous, to be patient, and above all, to show compassion. Let us never despair. For we are a nation at one, and we will surely prevail. May God protect our people.’
